About us

Our Story

Australian clothing donations are collected in Australia and being sold for profit to the pacific. Clothes For Good saw that Australia’s not-for-profit, pre-loved store model didn’t exist in Fiji, and set about changing that.

Clothes For Good opened the first ever pre-loved charity store in Nabua Fiji on December 7, 2023, which was soon followed with our second stores opening in Lami.

We now serve thousands of customers in Fiji, giving them access to pre-loved, and in some cases new, clothing and goods, while raising desperately needed funds for Fijian charities, and supporting causes such as animal welfare, people with disabilities and those fleeing domestic violence.

We save hundreds of thousands of pieces of clothing from landfill each year, and ensure Australia’s excess items are used to make a difference to our Fijian neighbours.

Collect

We collect good quality, secondhand clothing and items from generous Australians. We make it quick and easy for Australian individuals and organisations to help our neighbours in the pacific.

Sort

Once items arrive at our warehouse every item is identified and sorted through to ensure whether it’s fit for wear or unfit for wear. We only send quality items with life left in them to Fiji.

Ship

We send 40ft shipping containers from Australia to Fiji every 3 months.

Giveaway or Sell

Clothes For Good operates the only not-for-profit secondhand shop in Fiji. We either sell the donations to raise money for registered Fijian charities doing amazing work on the ground, or we supply clothes to causes when clothes are needed.

Donate to Fijian Charities

We are a registered Fijian not for profit. Every cent of profit we donate goes into the Fijian community whether it be providing support for Fijians with disabilities, funding animal shelters or supporting those fleeing from domestic violence.

Our Mission

Improve lives in the Pacific.

Our mission is to build a consistent source of income for Fijian charities. We opened the first ever not for profit pre-loved clothing store in Fiji and aim to expand to multiple locations. We want to address persistent disadvantage, social
exclusion and animal cruelty.

Our Values

Welcome

we welcome and actively engage people in order to build relationships based on respect and trust.

Community

we enable people to feel supported by, and connected to the broader community.

Challenge

we challenge the unjust social and economic structures that cause disadvantage, social exclusion and homelessness.

Accountability

we measure the impact of our work so that we can develop the evidence to address deep, persistent disadvantage and social exclusion.

Strive For Better

We are always looking for new ways to do more to help those that need it. We are driven to help those around us and help Australians help our Fijian neighbours.
